In the spring of 2023, ME Studio had the honor of producing Finland’s first IAB Finland MIXX Awards. The prestigious MIXX Awards, held internationally, celebrate innovations in digital marketing and highlight the top performers in interactive advertising. These award ceremonies have been held in various European countries by IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau), and in 2023, the gala finally made its way to Finland as part of IAB Finland’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
A Meaningful Concept and Bold Design
ME Studio created a meaningful concept for the event, seamlessly combining the awards gala with a celebratory seminar. Both segments were given a bold visual identity that not only stood out but also deepened the event’s significance. The visual concept aimed to convey joy and excitement to participants, emphasizing the purpose and value of the event. The energy and uplifting moments that arise when creativity, innovation, and pioneers come together under one roof were visually reflected as an explosive blooming design.
Tomi Forsblom, ME Studio’s Visual Designer, shared his thoughts:
“Digital illustrations often feature circuit boards, code, and intriguing underlying mechanics. I wanted to highlight the beautiful outcomes that can be achieved through digital creation, how digital elements manifest in the visuals, and the impact they have in targeting messages.”
Event Highlights
The event combined entertaining and informative content, innovative partner booths, and a colorful awards gala, which crowned the occasion. The event was carried out in close collaboration with the IAB Finland team, and the production flowed smoothly with an upbeat and joyful approach throughout the project.
